There are about 20 Casambi devices which control the group of 54 luminaires. I want to merge them with some music and create some animation, but I have no knowledge about DMX devices or controllers. Minimum time of animation is 1s in casambi and it is too much to create any interesting scene, but maybe using some DMX controller it is possible? And please give me some tips if I use DMXcas device will I be able to control these Casambi lamps by some DMX controller?
Yes, the DMXcas does allow connection from a DMX Console or DMX Master to a Casambi network. The only limitation is that Casambi does not allow more than 4 channels to be controlled by one DMXcas at this time, so for each 4 channels of control for your luminaires, you will need one DMXcas. These can be connected in parallel from the DMX master, so those all can be in the same location.
