Please could you advise the maximum cable run length on the DMX side for the casDMX?
You can Google on the Internet about DMX Wiring Methods, that is the best way to understand this. Overall, we use a 32 load transceiver which means it can drive 32 standard RS485 loads, which is what DMX is based upon, but the wire runs, lengths and wire stubs can reduce that.
However, we have run 5000 feet of wire with no problem, taking care to get the wiring in a single run.
