Testing the casDMXon a single RGW DMX controlled luminaire. Upon setting the casDMX profile to ‘RGB’ we find the fitting can be controlled correctly (on/off and colours changed on the colour selection panel). But this will only work for a few minutes then the fitting will just hang and cannot be controlled any further. The casambi app seems to be sending comands correctly to the casDMX however the fitting does not respond and stays on.
If we cycle power on both the casDMX and the luminaire we can then have control again for 1-5 minutes before it locks up again.
We have updated firmware.
This sounds like an old issue that Casambi has, the only reported issues that we have had all year with this same reported problem (which have been perhaps 5 tickets) all are because Casambi made an update that for some reason, when there is a Vendor Firmware update, the Casambi radio stops sending data to our module.
I know that you stated that all firmware is updated, can you go to Nearby Devices, and on the casDMX device, is there an UP ARROW showing on the icon? We have been at version 1.9 for a very long time, and if you unit is wanting to accept that update, that is probably what is causing this issue.
