casDMX “daisy chain” max

How many fixtures can we put in the daisy chain before we need another one?

Does the unit remember the last scene after power loss?

The real answer for how many nodes you can share is based on the cabling/wiring.  If the nodes are close, and proper DMX wiring methods are employed, you can go up to 32 nodes per the DMX transceiver specifications.
If the wiring is not managed, then the node count will be reduced, and performance might be degraded.
The units do not retain their last state.  The Casambi network does all of that, and you can program it to come alive in many ways.  We simply listen to the network’s commands and do what is asked.
Hope this helps!
