FOUR-CHANNEL DC-TO-DC LED DRIVER · UP TO 400 W

QuadDCDrive®

Configure the driver around the luminaire—not the other way around.

QuadDCDrive provides four independently configured Class 2 LED outputs. Set each channel for constant voltage or constant current, match the load's electrical operating window, then control the result through Casambi, DMX or the SmartDC network.

POWER AND CONTROL IN ONE PLATFORM

One DC input.
Four configured outputs.

Feed the driver from a 24-57 VDC supply, configure each load correctly through the USB-C or SmartDC tools, and let the selected control system command the four levels.

INTERACTIVE FOUR-CHANNEL LOAD PLANNER

Match each output to its connected load.

Select a channel and explore its operating point. The planner checks the 100 W per-channel and 400 W total limits; final settings must follow the actual luminaire data sheet.

Configure one channel

PLANNING EXAMPLE ONLY
For constant current, use the LED's required current and maximum forward voltage. For constant voltage, use the load voltage and total current. Never exceed the manufacturer's operating window.

FOUR CHANNELS, MANY LOAD TOPOLOGIES

Build around the LED architecture.

The four outputs do not have to do the same job. Configure the electrical mode and control role of each channel for the actual luminaire schedule.

Four independent whites

Use four separately controlled single-channel loads, each with its own current or voltage setting.

Tunable white

Assign warm and cool LED strings to paired channels and blend CCT while respecting each string's operating window.

RGBW color

Use one output each for red, green, blue and white constant-voltage loads for a compact four-channel color engine.

Mixed CC and CV

Because channels are independently configured, one driver can serve different compatible LED load types within the per-channel limits.

Distributed DC lighting

Locate the driver away from the luminaire and size conductors from the published voltage-drop table.

Emergency systems

When combined with the specified SmartDC CIO, controls and emergency source, the platform supports documented UL 924 applications.

CONFIGURATION + MULTIPLE CONTROL PATHS

Program the electrical limits first. Then choose who commands the level.

USB-C configuration sets the driver behavior. Casambi-enabled units can receive Casambi, DMX and SmartDC network commands, with the last command taking precedence.

PER CHANNELConstant voltage or current

Select CV or CC and configure the electrical operating point for the connected LED load.

PER CHANNELCurve, min/max and fade

Use the configuration interface to set dimming curve, intensity endpoints and fade rate.

WIRELESSCasambi control

Direct integration into Casambi scenes, schedules, sensors and app control on enabled models.

WIREDDMX + PDnet / SmartDC

Dual RJ45 connections auto-sense supported wired control traffic.

DIAGNOSTICSVisible status LEDs

Green activity and yellow/red error indications expose traffic and fault state during commissioning.

PROTECTIONAutomatic retry

Overload and short-circuit protection on each Class 2 output automatically attempts recovery.

HIGH-POWER CLASS 2 DC DISTRIBUTION

Size the source, outputs and conductors as a system.

Disconnect input power before landing or changing loads. Configure each output before applying the connected luminaire's full operating current.

INPUT · 24-57 VDC

Six-pin connector accepts 12-18 AWG. Up to 400 W may use one input pair or be distributed across three pairs.

OUTPUTS 1-4 · 12-55 VDC

Each two-pin output accepts 12-18 AWG and is limited to 100 W / 4 A within the configured operating window.

CONTROL · RJ45 + USB-C

Category cable for auto-sensing DMX/PDnet. USB-C provides local channel configuration.

Indoor, dry-location product: the current installation guide says do not use outdoors and not suitable for damp or wet locations. Maintain ventilation, stay below 45°C ambient, do not parallel power supplies, and do not enclose Casambi-enabled units in metal.

CALCULATE · CONFIGURE · VERIFY

Match every channel to its load data sheet.

Record input capacity, output mode, voltage/current limits, wiring distance and the control source for all four channels.
